Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it gives you a new perspective on food and your diet. I entered this course believing that it would not change my mind on what I eat. Now I decided to make a life change and start eating more healthier and now I feel livelier everyday.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about the vitamins and minerals that the body needs and also how much protein, carbohydrates, and fats the body needs. In addition to that, the class learns also how the body utilizes these nutrients and why the body needs them. Personally, while taking this course, I learned that I really needed to start eating more fruits and vegetables.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to do well in Nutrition 1010, you have to study. This class is not complicated but if you don't put any effort in studying the content, you're not going to do well on the tests. The chapters are around 30 pages long and three chapters are placed in each test. If you allow weeks to passed by without thoroughly reviewing the chapters, you're going to be left behind. I recommend reading the chapter throughout the week it is taught while connecting it to the homework that is given. You should also take notes as well and utilize Cengage Brain, a tool that given to each student where homework and study tools are given.

The highlights of this course were the end of the semester because if you didn't turn in an assignment, the professor gave you a chance to do it. I learned about the digestive system mostly/

    Hours per week:
