Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommmend her because she really pushes her students to pass. She respons very quickly to emails.

    Course highlights:

I'm still taking this at the very moment, but I've learned a generous amount. For example, I've learned many ways that agriculture does that harms our planet and ways that do not. I have learned what my barcon emissions are. She made us conduct a research on how many Earths do we need if every person lived like us. This course makes you think about how you live and how to change your lifestyle.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do you work and do not procrastinate. I am very successful so far. Always take notes and go over them each night for at least 20-30 minutes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn from a genuine professor who wants you to succeed. She made the textbooks used for this course so she really knows the material she is teaching. She goes the extra mile and explains material that students were supposed to read at home, in order to be prepared for lab. She always has open office where you can go see her for anything you need help with. She even offered to help me schedule my courses because I want to pursue a career in the field of veterinary medicine.

    Course highlights:

She gives a lot of extra credit and gives study advice to pass the exams. We learned about the reproductive, respiratory, and immune systems in one unit. We learned about climate change, sustainable ways of agriculture, and the importance of mammals in the ecosystem in another. She gives four exams; The fourth exam is comprehensive.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is typically extra credit on her exams so you should use it to your benefit. If your are studying to pursue a career in science or just in need of a BIO 1010 with lab, she is the professor to get. If you read the assigned material and use the study guides she offers you should be prepared for the exams Homework assignments are usually on the exam so study those and complete that textbook activities as well. Come in with a positive attitude and focus during discussions. Lastly, be sure to ask questions when you need to.
