Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course expands upon basic biology we learned freshman year, and has prepared me for college courses extremely well.

    Course highlights:

Some of the best topics we have covered include evolution, such as Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, and cell communication. It is fascinating to be able to understand the many facets of the human body, and it was especially mind-blowing to try and wrap my head around how small cells are and how big of a role they play in life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook every chance you get. It is full of interesting and helpful information that will help in class, and especially on the test. I cannot say "read the textbook" enough, because it truly made the difference for me this year. Also, you can watch Bozeman science videos or crash course videos, which are extremely helpful as well!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very hard course and should not be taken lightly but it is very fun and challenges you every day. We practice taking the ap exam a lot and now it doesn't scare me and I feel confident I will pass the real one.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the different kingdoms of animals and how to remember the order of them ( domain kingdom phylum class order family genus species). Now we are learning about the body systems and how homeostasis works with all of them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study absolutely every night. Every day you take notes go home and read over them and go ahead and start making note cards or rewriting, whatever you do to study.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to students who would like a career in science. This class provides a detailed description of all of the biology topics that have not been covered previously.

    Course highlights:

Even though I am still taking this course, I have had a better understanding on every aspect of Biology that was not covered in my earlier classes. For instance I have learned so much about cells, and how they make us us.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not interested in science, this is not the class for you. Aside from that, you will get to learn so many new things that will amaze you.
