Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the teacher is very nice and caring about each student. The class preparation for the AP test is great and students learn much more about analyzing figurative language and dissecting writing pieces into a well structured essay.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of the course include the every day socializing in the class because of how fun the environment in there is. I also enjoyed reading "The Great Gatsby" and other novels. I learned about analyzing writing pieces for figurative language and different types of essays such as the synthesis, analysis, and argument essay formats.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Although the course is easier than one might expect going into it. It is important to study the packet full of different kinds of figurative language so when writing an essay finding the author's rhetoric is easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The reason as to why I would recommend this course is because it not only looks great in a college application but it would also help you improve in your reading and writing skills.

    Course highlights:

From this course I improved in learning how to analyze and determine what an author's purpose is in a novel. The books that we were required to read went further into depth rather than if one were to take a regular English class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to do the assignments to the best of your extent and put as much effort as you can into the course. Be sure to study for vocabulary tests because they can bring up your grade if you really needed it to.
