    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's a learning experience. Although it's a tough course, it's worth it in the long run. It helped me understand and comprehend the history the U.S, like why today's government is formed like this, or how our society came to be. Before, I wasn't intrigued in history, however that changed when I took this course, and hopefully you will too.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is the end of it. Once you finished taking the AP exam, all that hard work paid off. Like I said, it is worth it in the long run because the SAT has questions about history, and it has helped me. Students will learn about the origins of the United States, and the Articles of Confederations. This will benefit you, because it makes you gain a large amount of knowledge about the government and society.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. I can't stress it enough. It helped me a lot to understand the material. Take thorough notes and make sure you know your dates because it will help you connect important events. Go to tutoring as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class because not only does it give a high school student an insight into the difficulty of college course classes, but it demands a great amount of independent motivation and persistence to help accomplish much of the assignments given.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of insight on the personality of true scholars who dedicate much of their personal time preparing for their future. Of course I gained a greater insight on our world history, but unexpectedly I also acquired knowledge on the inner workings of many people's behavior and why they acted the way they acted. Environmental influences as well as cultural believes have great impact on the way people behave. For example the curiosity of the human mind continues to amaze me of how far we've come, from simple farmers to an extraordinary growth of human strength.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read the textbook at least twice and acquire outside help such as going to Shmoop (a website) or reading AP study guides on the subject which you can find at any library or Barnes & Noble's. memorization is super important!! Being able to remember names, dates, and ideas are key to helping pass this course.
