    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it really gives you a new perspective on American History, especially parts of it that you may not be familiar with. Also, because it's a lot of information to remember and take in, it really helps you prep for college-level courses in the future.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of the course was learning about how similar the 1920's were to the 1950's. America was just finished with a war in both time periods, there was some prosperity in civilian life and the economy, and there was a fear of communism abroad.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study. Read thoroughly and take the FRQ's seriously in class. Studying is a simple thing to do, but it's not easy. Come up with mnemonics for certain things in American History, like FDR's programs during the Great Depression. Also, think about how the thing you're studying is relevant to you and the world today.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it made me more aware of why things are the way they are in our society, let alone my community. I learned a lot about the Irish and German immigrants, the World Wars, and more.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is our teachbacks. Teachbacks are where we stand up in front of the class and out teacher gives us a key term and we teach the class everything we know about that term. I learned

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You will remember what you learn as long as you study or do all of your work. It was a whole chapter of every detail of the entire textbook every night!

    Course highlights:

Staying up all night and passing the AP. I learned about American history and all of it's time periods. I learned the specifics of every social, political, and economic movement. It brought my interest of learning into history and I came to understand why so many things in America are the way they are now.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch online videos, get a study book, take notes on what you learn!
