    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This Entry business course was helpful for me and hopefully for because it is simple and gives you knowledge you can use. that is the thing about business courses they have simple definitions you can use in your everyday life for example; we made a business model as a group and presented it to the class. We watched videos of start up companies for example the shoe company "Zappos" it explained how they ran there daily operations. Candidly speaking it was my favorite class because it is what I want to do If you are someone like me you'll appreciate its simplicity and easy comprehension

    Course highlights:

In Business 101 I learned how publicly traded companies go about handling crisis. If a shareholder wants to break up a company they can offer other shareholders more equity in the company to halt his/hers operation called a "poison Pill". I enjoy that kind of stuff, people believe stocks are highly volatile and its true to a certain extent but there are things that happen That can cause the price to go up or down.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Business as we know it is mostly paperwork: terms, business descriptions, and explanations. This course is mandatory for anyone who is pursuing a career in business but its fun I think having a bit of business savvy is good for everyone. I think its helpful and it does what its suppose to do, teach you the basics. Go into ready to read, ready to jot down notes, and participate in group activities.
