Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides a fun and in depth look at new varieties of literature, in general it provides the student to expres their own perspectives on different authors and works.

    Course highlights:

We learned many things in this course so far: how to expand our vocabulary, how to break apart literary pieces for clear understanding, and how to work with others and understand different perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don’t be lazy, if you’re willing to put fourth the effort the class is very benifical. Don’t slack off on studying for a test or quiz, the tests are fair game and need true effort in order to pass.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is an advance course that really helps us analyze text and improve our writing. Plus we get college credit if we pass the AP test. This class is really good to help us find deeper themes and not just point out the obvious.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was reading important literature and getting to debate about it and find its deeper meaning. I learned how to find deeper meanings and develop my own interpretations about it. Our discussions were really fun and there is more than one answer therefore more than one person could be right.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate because the work will pile up and it will be practically impossible to catch up, make sure to read all the book assigned carefully and really analyze them, always be ready for discussion, and make sure to study study study.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would reccomend it because you could get college credit and not have to take freshman english. I wouldn't reccomend it because the class is kinda boring and it was my most dreaded class freshman year.

    Course highlights:

I was introduced to different authors and their impact on society. I learned more about Shakespeare and such.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the summer homework! Always read the books if you know theres going to be a quiz, she quizzes on small details so read deeply.
