    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is such an eye opener and life changing experience that goes beyond just writing essays. In this course I not only learned information for the AP test but also life lessons that school never teaches you such as, how to file your taxes or keep a balanced budget.

    Course highlights:

From every novel that we read, each one gave a lesson that we could relate to our everyday lives. For an example when we read Sula and had classroom discussions, we finally came to the understanding on friendship, love, and pain.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you read the novels or you will not know what is going on when you have discussions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very great course that greatly teaches students how to write more fluently and easily.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were definitely the essays and even though there is a lot of them, especially with my teacher, I did learn how to better control my language in writing and also be way more fluent at writing various types of essays like Rhetorical Analysis essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be very orderly and don't throw away anything. Also ,pay attention in the class because there is a lot of useful information found within the lessons.
