Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Psychology is so interesting and is needed for daily life. You get to understand everyone better including yourself. It's not a waste of time like a lot of required classes! It's one of those classes where you actually want to be there and are actually looking forward to learning and getting to know more. I highly recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the things that we could apply in real life. Knowing the stages of sleep and knowing exactly how many minutes your nap should be. Knowing why you do some of the things you do and understanding how people are feeling and why. Also, we learned more about the brain which was super interesting. Studying child development, adolescence, and adulthood.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and take notes. Also, don't distract yourself by worrying about your grade but rather, focus and enjoy the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because learning about psychology can positively help people understand people and possibly impact their life. This course can teach and offer lessons that have fascinating and surprising facts. Each new idea taught is used to positively change our life. It can apply to many situations in life outside and inside of school. This class can teach you so much about human interaction action and root causes. This course has taught me so much useful information and concepts which have improve my lifestyle both educationally and personally.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was new topics. Each new lesson began with a short story by the teacher that included a relatable topic. The stories made students eager to start a new lesson or urge us to read the next page faster. Learning new impacting facts that could benefit me was something that I did not expect but I definitely appreciate. For example one chapter we learned of an easy and effective way of learning and studying. Another chapter introduced the need for sleep and how to help your body by taking power naps. I definitely will continue to take psychology courses as I continue my college plans.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give students considering this course is to study the materials thoroughly. Also I would recommend that they take complete notes when reading. My recommendation would be to read more than once; read once without notes and then read and make notes the second time around. Make sure the] notes are summarized, and not copied directly from the book. By summarizing it would reinforce the material learned. Also students should ask the teacher what topics will on the tests. I also recommend to keep up with assigned reading. When studying,a student should make sure to work effectively. Work smarter not harder.
