Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it not only reaffirmed my understanding of english language, but my appreciation for the art of literature.

    Course highlights:

This was perhaps one of my most beneficial classes my junior year. It taught me how to understand core writing concepts, and also spurred my interest in works of literature.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work. If you can commit yourself to about one and a half hours of studying correct grammar and punctuation, as well as understanding more difficult to read literary texts, this class can help you tremendously with future endeavors.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course because it prepares you for all of the essays you will have to write in college. The class was easy as long as you turned in your work and did everything assigned.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned new methods of outlining and setting up my papers. I learned the Jane Schafer format and the chunking method. I also learned how to annotate and evaluate articles and then reflect on them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class you need to pay attention in class a well as doing all of your homework. Effort is needed and it is not a class you can just go through the motions in.
