    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this class for students who like English. If you do not like reading or are afraid you are not a good writer just believe in yourself and maybe you will surprise yourself! This class will be hard, but it is designed to prepare you for college classes, and it does a very good job of that.

    Course highlights:

With this course you will learn how to successfully write multiple types of essays, timed in-class and major take home ones. Not only will this class help improve your writing ability but it will also improve your reading ability, as you will be reading multiple novels. Also your daily vocabulary will be improved tremendously.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My main advice for a student considering taking this class would be to always read the reading assignment for homework, and not the day before the quiz! Also on the in-class essays make sure you pace yourself. Do not forget to always ask questions and take notes, it is a high intensity class but if you stay on top of it you should pass easily.
