    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you love math, good at memorizing Identities/formulas and great at staying on task. Then honors Chemistry is for you. There's alot of building upon previous lessons. Therefore try to stay on task and make learning fun for yourself!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about elements on the periodic table like the mass number anf the atomic number. Also the group names and reative and non reative metals. Writing electron configurations was also one of the interesting topics. I also learned identities of ironic and covalent compound and the different relations (chemical and physical).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepare to work and learn new thing! This class can be as easy as you make it; it just depends on you. It may get confusing at times and in those times, take advantage if asking questions. Form a study group because you may be confused on a topic that they get. Also, don't forget to make the best out of the course. Have fun learning!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Hutchinson is a fantastic teacher who is thorough in her lectures and is more than happy to help any student that asks for help. While her class is challenging (it is chemistry, after all), it is rewarding. She lightens up the class with consistent fun labs that seem irrelevant at first, but as the lab continues, we are able to piece the connection together on our own.

    Course highlights:

The labs in this class were phenomenal. We did a s'mores lab, as well as a lab with dish soap and milk. The labs are always fun but also applicable. I learned everything there is to know at a sophomore level in chemistry

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Doing the reading before class helps SO much. It may not make sense at first, but taking good notes on the reading will help comprehension in class. Plus, then you'll know exactly what questions to ask during class.
