    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend AP English Language and Composition because this course really helped me nourish as a writer and taught me the many factors that were enveloped within the course.

    Course highlights:

Walking into this course I wasn't sure how well I would have accelerated and learned, however the results seemed to be very different than my original thought process. I especially learned to understand SOAPSTone and the thought process of pathos, logos, and ethos. These two highlighted points were subjects I walked into the year not understanding, however as the year ended in May I was able to comprehend what those topics meant and how to utilize them in my writing.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To any students considering this course I would suggest you take this class seriously and come in and do your work efficiently. If you feel like you don;t understand something then ask, your teacher will not be upset if you are trying to learn. It is always best to make appointments outside of class if comprehension on the learned material still isn't clear.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is fun and the staff feels like family. Getting your voice heard by publishing an article feels surreal and you can really develop a sense of pride by knowing that you helped create a tangible object that can influence others.

    Course highlights:

I gained self-confidence and boosted my ability to create and keep a conversation going. Knowing what to say and when to say it is a very important skill that has helped me expand my horizons and join new clubs and activities. Some highlights included the weekly after-school sessions with the rest of the staff: these meetings included free food and drinks as well as extra help on how to write a professional paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All one needs to succeed in this course is an open mind and a drive to complete every assignment on time. Since it is a new magazine. the entire issue can be held back by one person not finishing their story or page design on time. Being dependable is key.
