    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it was truly a wonderful and insightful experience. Anyone who is interested in the study of human behavior and the human mind will genuinely enjoy this course, as it provides an intriguing insight into what motivates humans to act the way they do. The knowledge the course provided me with was immeasurable, and the teacher displayed a genuine passion for the subject and a devotion to her students.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course included the social psychology unit, the emphasis on conditioning. and the various mental disorders we were able to cover. There is a significant amount of material that students are expected to absorb in the span of the school year, but the value of the information learned is worth the time and effort! I was able to learn about the various schools of psychology, such as cognitive and psychoanalytic, and the people and ideas associated with them. It was very interesting and informative.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the assigned material in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the chapter. The amount of homework is very reasonable, and you should always complete it by the due date. Take notes in the style that is most comfortable for you, and be sure to highlight important information and key points. Also, remember the spacing effect! Study a little bit every day, as opposed to cramming the night before.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking AP Psychology because of the detail that is involved in the course. If the course work in AP Psych is compared to that of a Psych 101 class on the collegiate level, the material covered is such a lower level of depth. There are also extremely interesting theories that are presented from different points of views from things such a child development, mental illness, and growth that allows for a wide variety of mindsets to come into the classroom.

    Course highlights:

There are no specific highlights in this course because there is a wide range of material covered at such a fast past. We learn tp apply what we learn in the classroom and observe it through the outside world. As a group we look over experiments, learn to write short essay answers with detail, and go over all spectrums of psychology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, I would recommend taking efficient in-class notes, read the book and given examples, and do personal online research on the section being studied. Also, buying a "Barron's" AP Psych book would be an excellent resource to have handy.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She is a terrible teacher. I have learned absolutely nothing. She spends time talking about different cultures which isn't that helpful for the overall AP test looming in May.

    Course highlights:

How to dance flamenco. Seriously, we spent two days learning the steps.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a tutor...and hope for the best. I'm so sorry you're stuck.
