    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

taking an english course is required

    Course highlights:

the teacher can be a little moody sometimes but other than that staying on her good side is your best bet

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

stay on her good side, read all books when you need to read them by, dont plagarize, dont be late to her class, she doest like to let kids out to use the restroom during class because it distracts from the learning environment so go before or after the class

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because Mr. Keaney is one of the best teachers I have had the chance to know. He is very helpful and so involved in the corse work. He is a very passionate teacher, you can really tell that he loves what he does.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course I read many books and short stories. One of the books I remember reading was The Great Gatsby. The book is one of my favorites thanks to Mr. Keaney. He always found a way to tie in all the literature we covered throughout the year.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Enjoy all the different assignments you receive in this class, each one is very important and gives you an insight to the world of literature.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend it because of the surprising lack of learning in the class. I can't speak for other teachers but I did not enjoy the curriculum and the teacher only made it worse. I learned more in my 10th grade English than I did in AP. However, the class is just one of those classes every junior should take because of the AP credit and GPA boost you get. So unless you have many other AP classes to take, welcome to AP English 11! Good luck trying to make the best out of it. (AP test score: 4)

    Course highlights:

All I learned was how to write a proper essay that would help you pass the AP exam. No value whatsoever other than that.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want something done right for you, do it yourself. Have regular meetings with your teacher to improve your writing.
