    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You will learn to develop and articulate your words and writing in such amazing ways. Trust me my you'll use these skills for the rest of your academic career so it's helpful to have a course so focused on writing.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this class was the poetry, I learned how to dissect works of literature to fully grasp the material. Also, my teacher was like a hawk when it came to precision of language. Web learned to say a lot in such short word limits. This skill was especially helpful in writing essays and annotating because we were able to say exactly what we meant instead of dancing around the topic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus and take every piece of advice. Realize that you don't know everything and that's okay, that's why there's a teacher to help you. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help. My rule of thumb is to read everything more than once and annotate everything, you'll thank yourself later when you have writer's block or you're struggling with understanding the topic.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course prepares you for the future in a way that is still useful in the present. The teacher is enthusiastic and grades pretty harshly which gets students to work harder.

    Course highlights:

my favorite part of the class is the balance of working in groups and individually, You learn a lot of note taking skills and train to be more aware of how authors write and what they are trying to say.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You will read and annotate a lot of writings and you will have to learn how to like it. You must also learn to be proficient in taking Cornell notes. If you can do those things the class will be a breeze.
