Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Professor Robinson helps to spell out every piece of math to make it more understandable.

    Course highlights:

Professor Robinson will teach a math method and give homework from the text that directly has you practice what was learned. I learn best by watching, taking notes and then practicing exactly what was taught. Professor Robinson definitely teaches to students like me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As always, do the homework! Professor Robinson will reiterate items for clarification but will move forward in the the lessons. If you don't do the work you will get lost as is the case in most math classes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Steve creates great videos that work through all the problems, that you can watch again and again at any time. The homework can be done using the textbook or through an online website which offers examples and unlimited attempts until you master the problem.

    Course highlights:

I completed the class with a thorough understanding of all problem types covered in college algebra.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Sign up for the online homework. It is a little more work, but you will master the topic. Watch Steve's videos -- especially for test prep. They really help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In the past few years, I have struggled with mathematics quite a lot, but I have always been a firm believer that someone can grow to become good at something they have not always been good at. College Algebra gave me the confidence I needed in mathematics it covered and expanded upon the information covered in my high school classes to give me a better understanding.

    Course highlights:

I gained a strong confidence in Algebraic concepts, including rational expressions, polynomials, graphing, functions, transformations of graphs, logarithmic equations and exponential equations. This course balances material learned in previous classes with new material and their applications.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you cannot fear seeking help from your classmates, there is a lot of problem solving that goes into mathematics and some may see a problem a different way than you. There are always many ways to look at a problem and solve it, this applied to the homework in this course. Another tip is to always do the homework, it helps with understanding and the tests.
