Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was great for big ideas and being open minded!

    Course highlights:

I especially loved the religion aspect of this class, Anne did an incredible job at explaining the content so difficult concepts were easy to understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for lots of reading, and pop-quizzes - but it's totally worth it!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class showed me my true passion for education and philosophy. Dr. Machin's course was one of the more difficult classes I've taken, and it forced me to grow in a way only an experienced instructor would be able to teach.

    Course highlights:

I learned about a more broad worldview, and how philosophy is important for all aspects of life. In this class we covered religion, metaphysics, epistemology, among many other facets of philosophy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know that this course is thought provoking and difficult to understand. You have to really open up your mind in order to comprehend the reading and other materials, but that's a good thing! Repetition and asking questions are your best friends!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to challenge themselves, because it is an intro class, so its not too hard and it really makes you did into your beliefs and find what is wrong with them.

    Course highlights:

the best part of this class was comparing the way i think to way that philosophers think, i enjoyed trying to figure out which philosopher i am most similar to.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want a challenge, and think you would enjoy philosophy, go for it. if you are not the freethinking kind of person do not take it you will only annoy the rest of the students in the class, or take it and see if it changes the way you generally see the world.
