    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Mesbergen Is a phenomenal teacher and I have learned more from her class than any other.

    Course highlights:

There is no highlight of this course. there is no one thing I learned that stood out from the rest. You just learn stuff. Mrs. Mesbergen will lecture all class and get off topic, but you learn so much from her silly stories that you don't remember learning.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to what she has to say, even when it seems incredibly off topic. Read her feedback. You should do that with any teacher, but it is very important in a Mesbergen class specifically to listen and stay engaged.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Ort required students to think outside of the box when writing papers. While many would teach only the normal college rules, Mr. Ort challenged us to use English in ways that made you question what was already taught. Professor Ort used a students style of writing to make them better.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can start a sentence with the word BECAUSE, but only if you made your point. I learned to get rid of fuller words like "this is, these are, things".

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

What you put in, is what your going to get out of the class. Professor Ort gives you a chance to rewrite your paper for a better grade. in order to become a better writer, you have to write.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this course because there were many computer issues, making the class not as good as it could have been.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were that I learned a lot about writing essays for scholarships and college admission. I also learned about how to properly site a source within an essay and bibliography.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend taking a course like this in high school in order to get college credit so that you can save some money by taking it early.
