    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches you things will actually need to know in the future in the real world. It teaches you how to budget, about taxes, credit cards, and most of all how to be independent. We as seniors taking the class know the real world is coming soon and yet we are so eager and scared at the same time. This class was definitely a highlight of my senior year, it taught me a more than I could've asked for from my parents

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this class was when Mr. Smith assigned our budget project. It consisted of picking three colleges of our choice and laying out a plan of how we would pay for college, work a part time job,and afford an apartment while going to school full time. It showed us the reality we would soon face as seniors.Yes, it did scare me very much, but it was a wake up call,a good one. I learned in order for me to succeed in college I would need to commit myself and be determined in school in order to accomplish my goals.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in this class, take lots and lots of notes. They will come in handy when it comes to pop quizzes and projects. And when you don't get a subject make flash cards, they helped me ace my final. Overall, be open to learning new things and don' come into this class thinking you know it all because most likely you don't have a clue what' going to come. But that is for you to found out on your own, so good luck!
