    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it really challenges you as a student. Mr. Hawkins knows how to push students to be the best that they could possibly be not just in academics, but in life as well. There is a lot of course work, but I really enjoyed having homework to always work on.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this class were where we would work for group projects. We had lots of group projects throughout this class and it gave you different opportunities to grow as friends with different students in the class. We were also graded on rather the work was actually accurate or not so we were not allowed to just write down whatever we wanted.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students who wanted to take AP United States History would be to actually read the textbook because most of the information that is on the test is directly from the textbook. Also, study for the test because there is a test from each unit and the test are worth a big part of your grade overall. Lastly, you want to make sure that you do well on all your projects because those are also very important for your grade.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it because it helps teach you the history of our world in depth.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge about the world as well as the many cultures that live within in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate! Always plan out your study sessions and study with someone whos not necessarily your friend, but can help you get the grade you both want.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course, while difficult, is extremely thought-provoking and interesting. We discuss topics and themes that extend beyond simple U.S. history.

    Course highlights:

We learn a lot about the Puritans, the development of the roles of women at home and abroad, the growth of the U.S. federal government, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard. Dates aren't as important and the comprehension of the themes.
