    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you did well in Geometry, Algebra I, and Algebra II, then this class will be very manageable. It is important to note that this class is an introduction to Calculus AB AP, so it is important to try to truly understand every lesson that the teacher teaches as you will utilize all that information in the future. In short, it does not matter if you don't enjoy math or not, this course will not only be fulfilling once you pass it, as it is difficult, but it will teach you many valuable life-skills for the future as well.

    Course highlights:

Every quiz, test, or final, were the highlights of this course as every time I saw my scores and results from each one, I gained more motivation to keep on going. This class was very time consuming as the homework our teacher left was usually challenging as he wanted to prepare us for AP next year and seeing how all the time dedication was being showed through my test scores, was a very fulfilling moment that I will never forget.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Whether you want to or not, this class teaches you not only pre calculus but responsibility, the importance of studying skills, patience, and willpower. Every lesson is different, and you will certainly not pass the class by guessing through the tests, or by choosing to not put in the extra time to go to tutoring sessions or even not studying before a test. This class is hard but even if math is your worst subject, if you put in the effort, you will succeed in this class. In the end, everything is just mental, because if you practice enough and study even harder, you'll not only just pass the class but be able to achieve an A.
