    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course mostly because it prepares you for college basics and you already have an idea of what is in store. Pre-Calculus is a tough course but will benefit you in the future.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course are lots of factoring, finding zeros, and polynomials. I overall learned tougher situations from subjects in Algebra 2.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you will need to take lots of notes and really pay attention to detail because one little mistake can through off the whole problem. It requires a lot of thinking but will become easier the faster you are able to learn and keep up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course if you are decent at math but you are nervous for taking pre-calculus. This course allows you to learn in a fun way while doing many experiments, surveys, and projects. Definitely take it if you plan on doing a career that involves probability!

    Course highlights:

I love that we don't just do notes and quizzes. You get worksheets to practice what you learned and Mrs. Brinkman is very helpful if you don't understand something. So far, we have learned how to do probability, experimental designs, and special discrete distributions. These all are very helpful, especially if you want to be in a career that requires you to take Statistics in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask for help if you don't understand something! I know that no one wants to be the student that has to have something repeated, but it is honestly the best thing to do. Most teachers are willing to work with you if you don't understand the lesson, all you have to do is ask.
