    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is a must for any college student. We began with writing descriptive narratives then progressed to our final paper. I had never written a research paper, but with the lessons learned in English 101 I'm a better writer and feel confident as I move forward with my degree goal.

    Course highlights:

I gained confidence in my voice. My English professor gave me the best compliment I've ever received, and I haven't shut up since.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to make a connection with your instructor, especially if you are in a small class. I found all my fears were mostly of my own making. Learning to use your voice is a powerful experience. The more you use it, the more confident you become.
