Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was able to teach us about the business world but did it using the real world.

    Course highlights:

We picked teams and invested fake money into fake portfolios. The winning team got bragging rights and an A in the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your research, just don't pick companies that you know

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

We learned about real world issues. We learned how the stock market works. We built a fictitious portfolio and my teams won by having the biggest return on our investments. Econ can be a very boring subject if you just read the book and try to memorize the theories but if you can use it in everyday life it makes it more interesting.

    Course highlights:

We won the class prize for our stock portfolio.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to wake up early to watch the stock market before you go to school.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr Tazza makes this subject very relatable. He takes a complicated subject and puts it into terms that high school students can understand.

    Course highlights:

He made each student a country and we had to discuss the economic issues each was facing and to decide if 2 countries became 1, would that be a realistic thing?

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to learn about economics in a fun way, take Mr Tazza.
