    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course prepared me very well for the AP test and also made me enjoy learning biology. It was fun and interesting at the same time.

    Course highlights:

I learned, in great depth, about the parts of the cells, cam and c4 plants, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, genetics, and much more. This course went very in depth for each of these topics and allowed me to understand what each is and how it works.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be able to focus and study hard. You also need to be able to make time to do the work that goes along with it. It's all needed in order to prepare you for the AP test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would reccomend this course because it is very challenging and it helps students see how challenging a college course would be.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the projects and the presentations. I learned how to work together with a team in order to complete these tasks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice that I would give to students who are going to take this course is that you need to go back and look at the notes, because everything that is on the notes will be on the test. Another piece of advice is to read the text book if you do not understand something.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you're interested in science, you will love how in-depth this class goes. There are lots of labs and lots of opportunities to apply what you know. This class is far more than one-dimensional, and will leave you with an expansive knowledge of biology.

    Course highlights:

I am currently taking this course, and I have learned about the application of biology. My freshman year was mostly sitting at a desk taking notes, while this class was more hands-on. Even though it is a lot of work, I fins myself developing better study habits and time management techniques.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be prepared to study a lot. If you are not good at straight memorization of facts, you will need to study even more. Also, if you procrastinate, you will not be successful because this class requires you to do your part and complete work at home.
