    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because you get a lot of interactions among your peers before you go to college. Also, this course allows you to approach the text or reading in a way never approached before.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of the interactions among peers. It is fascinating how different minds can work together to create a meaning that you would've never thought by yourself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend students to improve their essays and reading skills by asking the teacher. The best way to survive this class is to ask for advice.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class equips you with college level words, teaches you how to discuss and be a good public speaker, and also challenges your writing style and stretches you creatively.

    Course highlights:

I have learned so much in this course, and the highlights were learning about synthesis and rhetorical analysis essays. Writing is a huge part of life, and this class prepares you to be an eloquent writer, speaker, and thinker--ultimately shaping your future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to take advantage of study sessions and reteaches. These essays aren't learned over night--you need to practice and make time for them!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is challenging if you have a hard time with writing or hitting all the requirements in each essay structure. Ms. Ransom is a great teacher and she'll make your year fun even if you aren't into language arts. She really prepares you for the AP test and so you'll pass as long as you prep and you work hard throughout the year

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the class was learning and writing the argumentative essay as that essay had a freer structure and I tended to do better on . They were my favorite type of essay to write as you can include connections to movies, tv shows, past experience, or historical events.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over the structures of each essay and if you are constantly failing essays or the multiple choice, don't be afraid to go in for help because it'll help you out in the long run.
