    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The content is relative your every day life.

    Course highlights:

It helped solidify some of my core attitudes and beliefs. It also gave me fresh perspective on topics of concern that I was not previously knowledgeable about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read...a lot! You will need to look at something from this class nightly.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Only take the class if you are extremely interested in American History. Otherwise it'll be boring for you and you won't do as well as you expect yourself to do.

    Course highlights:

I'm not good with dates. Never have been, never will be. BUT! I learned a lot of conceptual ideas that translate into other subjects as well. For example, manifest destiny is not solely an American-westernization thing. Evidence of he beliefs rooted within can be seen in other countries histories as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read and take use of study materials, tutorial sessions, online resources, textbooks! Anything! Also, have conversations with your classrooms and with older people who have been through or have extensive knowledge of the content.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr.Curtis is a beautiful teacher and he keeps his students 100% engaged. He tries to include as many interactive activities in his teaching plans as possible and his door is almost always open if you have questions.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing was definitely the debates we had when learning about the colonial unit. we also went really in depth when we learned about the Native Americans, which I appreciated a lot since they are almost erased from the history books.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

read the book and go to tutoring! there are also youtube videos on everything in the book, which are super helpful if you're not all that into reading textbooks.
