    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I think that this really helped me understand the people around me and it made me want to take her IB course my junior year.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how your brain functions in response to various stimuli and I got an overview of how drugs, not just the street kind, can adversely affect your cognitive thinking.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take good notes and do your work as well as the study guides...she lets you use them on your test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's such a fun and interesting course! You learn a lot more than just mental illnesses, such as theories on behavior, influence, and stress. There are even numerous self tests for those who are curious about learning where they might be categorized. Mrs. Savoia is a great teacher for the course, and is an overall enjoyable experience.

    Course highlights:

Overall history of Psychology as a study. Theories on personality and behavior from the perspectives of multiple scientists (Freud, Pavlov, Skinner, Watson, etc.). Causes and effects of, and coping methods for stress. Illnesses from the DMS V.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

While this class is very fun, you need to pay attention. There is a lot of classwork and notes that is required to do the fun stuff, so make sure you are focused. Psych is not the rocking-back-and-forth-because-nothing-makes-sense-and-I-question-my-existence class, but it's no easy A either. Study. Do your notes. Be a generally good student.
