    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't suggest this class because for non-history oriented students it is a grade dropper. It is not fun and not an accurate way to look at how hard school is or will be.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to cram 24/7 for tests and BS some of the material we were supposed to learn.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this coarse or be prepared to lose nights of sleep studding for this class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this to students who are highly self-motivated. Mrs. Trainor is on of the best teachers I have ever had, but she neither sugar coats things or holds your hand. You also need to be ready for a very, very heavy homework load.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more about American History. You would think I would have a healthy grasp on our nation's history before this, but I was sorely mistaken. There is a huge learning curve for procrastination and it definitely broke me of my habit.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend this to students who are highly self-motivated. Stay up to date with your reading and actually put effort into all the packets and worksheets.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is supposed to prepare you for the APUSH exam at the end of the year. However, all relevant information to the test was expected to be self-taught. This meant that the class was essentially pointless, as nothing important was taught.

    Course highlights:

The most important idea I learned from this course, is how to learn on my own. That was because all pertinent information was expected to be learned on your own time. This also made me quite happy when I got a decent score on the APUSH test at the end of the year.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I could give would to students would be to prepare to read the textbook. All information on the tests in the class was derived from the textbook. Reading the textbook also gave important background knowledge necessary for the end of the year exam.
