Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love writing and it was great for me and it broadened my perspective on other writing styles and essays.

    Course highlights:

I learned about essay styles that I didn't know before and I really grew through the papers. It wasn't super hard but it certainly wasn't easy but I definitely learned a lot of important stuff.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Really take time on the papers and do your best. The professor I had was very strict about deadlines and you should always be on top of those, it saves you a lot of stress if you do.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This English course dives straight into the old British literature. The course itself is very interesting and you will learn about a different type of literature you've never learned about. The course is very challenging and takes a lot to make a good grade but in the end worth it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot more of the history of literature and different styles than I had learned in any other English class that I have taken. The class is very educational and you read many interesting stories. Most stories have life lessons that you will carry with you for a long time.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read the material!!!!!!! Most teachers expect that you have read it very detailed and will ask questions with certain details from the story that spark notes won't give to you. It is best if you start reading as early as you can in case it is hard to read and/or you need help understanding something. Do not try and read a novel the night before.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I liked the class overall, but I felt like I did not learn as much as I should have. I did not like how long it took the teacher to grade things. It seemed like she did not want to grade the essays that students turned in.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed writing most of the essays. In English 111, I learned how to organize my papers so they flow better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course, I would not procrastinate. Do your papers when they are assigned, not the night before they are due.
