    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you are interested in pursuing a career in Environmental Science, but aren't sure what specifically you like. The course included many relating topics which allows you to decide your favorite!

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the real life applications. When in class, you would learn, for example, Greenhouse Gases. Then when you would leave class you would see the effects in real life. The class is real life oriented which made it easier to learn!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take as many notes as possible, in class and from the textbook. Make sure you have a bit of time outside of class to put into studying and the homework.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is not only incredibly interesting, but you also learn about things that apply to your everyday life and the lives of everyone around you.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing that I've learned in this class is population ecology. We learned about how and why populations change is size and the effects of a growing human population.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class requires a lot of memorization and you need to put in a lot of work in order to fully understand the material. But, if you do this, it will certainly pay off.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very interesting class. I was not a big fan of science classes until Chemistry, I know shocking. Environment Science wasn't as hands on as I wanted and the teacher wasn't my absolute favorite. I think if we got to play with things (rocks) from the environment like we were learning, I would have enjoyed it much better.

    Course highlights:

Getting to learn more about the planet that I live on. We discuss weather patterns and types of rocks and all these fascinating things I'd heard about but not really learned about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study and take good notes in class. My class used textbooks so I borrow some from the library and went home to revise the section we were in. Watch videos online to see diagrams and pictures if you're a visual learner like me. It help me memorize things easier and much quicker than reading words.
