It has really helped me with my critical thinking and writing skills.

We have done several critical reviews this year and it has helped me be able to read a book and critique it using an unbiased view and make a decision on whether or not I would recommend it to other people.

Make sure to read the books that are assigned. It helps a lot when writing the essays.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives many refreshing views on historical events. Also it is a fun class when it is taught by Mr. Wexler because he does many group discussions and bring a sense of humor to the class.

    Course highlights:

In this class you read a couple books written by people that experienced certain situations first hand. For example one book about the European takeover of Africa was the first to be published by an African author. This story gave you a whole new perspective of the African people because unfortunately many people just consider them savages when that couldn't be further from the truth in reality.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You must try and do the reading every night. It is never very long but it is critical to your grade.
