Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I've been in Mrs. Mekhail's Class for two years now. Although the class is challenging because of the pace you go at and because of the concepts you learn, it's actually not that bad. If you don't quite grasp something at first, Mrs. Mekhail is willing to help to ensure you're solid on that concept. I don't recommend this class for students who are easily overwhelmed or are not willing to put in the work. It's very easy to slip and fall behind, but your successes are awarded. The support system from classmates is great because there are also students there who want to learn and who want to set themselves up for success. Many classmates I had offered me help on things and vice versa. Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to prepare themselves for higher education.

    Course highlights:

We cover EVERYTHING in this class. In my Junior ear we went over; Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Ecology, Evolution, and Human Physiology. In my Senior year we went over; Nucleic Acids, Metabolism, Plant Biology, Genetics, and Animal Physiology. There are a lot of different concepts that are covered and like I said, this course is very faced pace so it's easy to get lost. The concepts are easily understandable, but if there's something that's difficult to comprehend you have many sources available at your disposal to help you out.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class mostly consists of reviewing a concept as a whole and then breaking it down by practicing and proving our knowledge. I'd recommend that students study for at least 30 minutes a day the stuff they learned in class that day, so that way they can easily retain the concepts. It'll also make it easier for when it comes to studying for a test because all you would need to do is review.
