Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the required reading material for this course is interesting and can be exciting to read depending on your taste in literature. You get to share your interpretations of what you've read with your peers and discuss your differences in opinions. It's also helpful if you're taking certain history classes as well because most of the works of literature are classics and can build on prior knowledge on historic events.

    Course highlights:

This course allows you to learn about literature from different time periods and gives you an insight into the lives of everyday people from those time periods. The difficulty varies depending on the work of literature and its time period. This course helps you develop a better vocabulary and understanding of different literary elements. In this course you are encouraged to form your own opinions and analyze as well as discuss your interpretations of the text in order for you to understand it from different perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed you must read all the required reading material from start to finish. Throughout the readings you should consider taking little notes on post-its when you notice a literary element or possible topic of discussion and place it on the page you found it so you can refer back to it later, also consider doing this when you come across a word you don't know and find it's meaning.
