    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Mac is very through and is a great, fun teacher.

    Course highlights:

There are a lot of hands on labs which help you learn the subject better. A lot of the material he gives us is on the test, so make sure to pay attention

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook, especially the example problems for sections with a lot of math.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for those who are interested in computers and are thinking about going into that field. This is an important course that helps give high-schoolers a glimpse of what programming is all about, without having to pay a hefty penalty (dropping a class, paying for the textbook).

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of java programming and what you would need to create a program. In computer science a, you would learn for loops, while loops, if statements, arrays, arraylists, and get practice using them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly, I didn't put enough time or effort into this course as I should have at first. This made it a lot harder as the year went by. However with enough practice and work, the rewards are well worth the effort. Be prepared to become totally immersed within programs.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class because, while other classes such as math and economics require memorization and consist entirely of being lectured in a classroom all day, physics involves many fun hands-on projects and labs.

    Course highlights:

Physics is filled with labs that, in addition to being fun and engaging, also teach a lot about why the universe works the way it does and allow students to understand the concepts being taught through concrete examples and hands-on experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Because all formulas are allowed to be used during tests, there is no need to memorize anything. Simply paying attention in class and listening to the teacher is enough to earn a high grade.
