Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is not what you expect when you hear"AP Psychology". It's actually very interesting to see how the human mind works. Mr Hightower does an excellent job of keeping the class interesting and also preparing you thoroughly for the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

The whole class was a highlight for me personally. It showed me something I was interested in but, never knew i would be. I was genuinely excited to go to class every day and I believe that's a big part of successful learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My only advice is to read each chapter the night before you go over it in class so that your familiar with the content. You should also watch the crash course videos made for the course the night before the test just to get a refresher.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's an interesting class if you go to this high school.

    Course highlights:

The lectures were probably the best part of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be lazy and actually read. If you don't read, at least pay attention to the lectures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

To me Psychology in general is a very fascinating field. I really enjoyed my first term, I've learned a lot and even though I have to say there is a lot of reading and memorizing included, the teacher always managed to make the process of learning easier and more interesting for us!

    Course highlights:

For me the highlight of this course was learning about how the brain, with help of neurons, is able to send messages to different parts of the body, and with that also controlling itself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One thing that is highly important in this class, and I am sure in other classes as well, is to not procrastinate! There are reading assignments assigned every day, so in order to keep up with the pace of this class I really suggest staying prepared and doing the homework the day it was assigned.
