    Course Overview:

    It was a detailed and interactive class. Moreover the professor had knowledge about the subject and could effectively communicate and teach.

    Course highlights:

    This was Introduction to accounting wherein I learnt how to do the basic functions of accounting and maintaining and forming balance sheets, income statements, retained earnings statement and how the assets, liabilities, revenues, depreciation and other aspects are recorded and evaluated.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    The best way to get through this course and pass with an A grade is to pay attention in the class and to what the professor is trying to teach and be responsive in the class. Moreover, reading is very important and should be carefully and frequently done followed by the homeworks and assignments.

    Course Overview:

    This professor particular is excellent at teaching you the introduction of accounting.

    Course highlights:

    In this course, you will be taught the basic concepts in Accounting that you will need to remember throughout your career in account like financial statements, assets, liabilities, and equity. Doing the actual math is fairly simple with a calculator. All you need to do is know the concepts, and you will be good to go for those who want to major in accounting.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    This course require a lot of critical thinking especially when solving a multi-step problem. I would advise you work through the problem step-by-step. If you get the answer wrong at first, try again until you get the right answer. Practice makes perfect. Doing the homework give plenty of practice to be prepared for the exams.

    Teacher makes the subject easier to learn. Professor also cares about her students a lot.

    Course highlights:

    That the teacher made such a hard subject a little easier to wrap our heads around and learn. Professor Polser also set us up for success.

    Study the homework and practice to retain and study the material.
