Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor who teaches this class is a great teacher. She makes it very easy to learn even the most difficult concepts of chemistry and has no problem helping you if you are having trouble with an assignment.

    Course highlights:

The labs were the best part. We got to do experiments such as titrations, acid reactions, burning metals to make metal oxides, and using spectrometers. The lectures covered everything from states of matter to quantum chemistry to molecular geometry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The exams can be difficult, so clarify any trouble subjects with the professor to get tutoring beforehand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He took the time to come in an hour or more before class began to go over homework problems or practice problems students were struggling with.

    Course highlights:

I finally understood a lot that I didn't completely understand back when I took chemistry my sophomore year of high school.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you need any help don't hesitate to ask the professor and make sure to manage your time wisely because its better if you practice and go over notes each day instead of everything the day before the quiz or test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides the basic understanding of Chemistry, which is necessary for Bio and Medical student. Furthermore, you can gain experimental experience from the lab section. Dr. Swaminathan is a caring teacher, and I think all of us improve a lot after the course.

    Course highlights:

I think the highlight of the course is the Research section. Dr. Swaminathan divided us into small groups, and each group has to conduct a research.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be diligent. Prepare before class, attention in class, and do homework after class.
