    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. the professor is wonderful. She's one of the most passionate AND intelligent teachers I've ever had, so every lesson is basically really enjoyable one way or another. You have to love geography and general earth studies in order to enjoy this class otherwise you may feel it's a drag (from my observation of other students).

    Course highlights:

My highlight of taking this course is that I learnt so much about our planet! I have always been incredibly interested in it, and GOL 105 answered all my questions. All the questions you'd ask your high school professor, the dull uninformative answers you'd get, the boring topics- everything is gone. Geology 105 is a great introduction to earth sciences. The textbooks are very detailed and have cool pictures, unlike most college-level textbooks, and they're very entertaining to read.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to anyone thinking of taking this course would be, firstly, brace yourself. There is a load of information to take in, but it is equally as easy. My personal opinion on GOL 105 is it's a walk in the park compared to other Natural Sciences and Lab offered in college. If picking a lab is a requirement, pick Geology. It is straight forward unless you lack common sense, then it can seem like you're learning a different language. Research is also a big factor. Read your notes, read the lab work, read.
