Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Vick has a way of presenting thorough and very applicable information in an engaging way. She is supportive and very accessible. I have taken multiple classes with her and always enjoyed them.

    Course highlights:

We learned about how to effectively communicate with those around us, particularly in professional settings. She gave a good amount of examples and information to support the skills we learned and to help them "stick."

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There were some weeks where it was definitely more than 5 hours (when we had projects, etc.), but some where it was on the lower end. There is a decent amount of group work, so if you're not comfortable working on group projects and this class isn't required for you, I would probably advise against it. That being said, Mrs. Vick is a fantastic educator and cares deeply about what she does, so if you're transparent with her, she's usually happy to work with you in whatever ways she can (keeping in mind that working with other personalities is obviously a huge component of communication in the workplace).
