Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because it provided good background theory and knowledge about economics as well as related many current events topics to the subject. It proved that the academic subjects taught in school can easily be related to the real world.

    Course highlights:

I learned that basic economic principles can be applied in your everyday life even in situations that do not appear to relate to economics. One such situation like this, is when using cost benefit analysis for deciding whether it would be more beneficial to stay up extremely late to study for a or to just go to bed and get a good nights rest.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is especially interesting, because it relates to problems that high school students are currently facing such as large amounts of student debt after college. If you pay attention and do the homework then this course should be extremely fun and informative.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even if you are not going to be going into business, it a good idea to have an understanding of how the world of money works around you. How the stock market can affect you, or how interest rates can change the price of a house you are looking to buy.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the stock market in this course. One of the highlights for me was the "stock market game" we played in class. Which was a simulation of the real stock market, and we got to experience it first hand what it was like buying and selling stock.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you ask the questions that you have until you have a complete understanding of the topic, and make sure you do all the work that is required in the class.
