    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class was hard but it wasn't that hard to understand if you read the textbook. We did some experiments that helped us see the bigger picture of what we were taught.

    Course highlights:

We had an AP Baby Day each month where we watched a video and learned how a baby would develop in the mother's womb

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Form study groups where you can work and ask each other questions whenever you need help. It's hard but if you have more than one mind working on the problem, you will be able to find the answer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is fun, professional, and witty. The notes we took were thorough and understandable. While the class is not all that easy, it's very likely that you'll pass the class and the exam.

    Course highlights:

I gained a greater understanding of genetics and it's basic components as well as a newfound appreciation for biology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It's always good to go back through the notes to get the key points in each chapter.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because students get to go more in depth with evolution, genetics, cells, etc. The teacher would take the time to help you after school if you are confused on a chapter, or you don't understand a problem. In addition, the teacher gives you many opportunities boost your grade, such as retaking a test.

    Course highlights:

The teacher formed the class into small study groups, which was really helpful when it came to studying for a test or catching up on homework. In addition, throughout the year, I learned the process of how a baby grows and develops while still in the mother's womb. However, the best part about this course was going to the Safari Park to study about condors and elephants.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though this course is interesting and at the same time informative, there is still a lot of studying to be done. Do not procrastinate on your weekends! There will be many times when the teacher will all of sudden give you a huge assignment. However, she does give you a reasonable amount of time to finish. Therefore, do not take that time for granted. In addition, studying for the tests are never optional. There are a must in order to pass the class.
