    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class for anyone who is up for a challenging class. At first this class was extremely hard for me and I wanted to give up but in the end I am glad I stayed. I dreaded learning about history. However my teacher made it enjoyable and easy to understand. After the first semester and some getting used to how AP classes run, my grade improved tremendously.

    Course highlights:

My teacher was my favorite part about this class. I have always disliked going to history class because I have never had interest in history. However, the year I took this class I loved going to history. My teacher was hilarious and always made the class enjoyable. However, this class was challenging with it being an AP course. It took a lot of getting used to and teaching myself at times. I learned better study habits, how to overcome a hard course and challenge, and of course some United States History.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class was challenging at times and I would advise anyone taking this class to keep up with the reading and stay on top of your notebook for sure. This class second semester is much easier than first so I would not give up because in the end for me it was definitely worth the hard work and dedication.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it was a challenge for me. Going into the class, knowing it was going to be tough and overcoming my dislike for history was an experience. This class was more of a take notes all class then watch a clip about the topic then have a quiz every friday. Reading was a huge part in understanding the topic. Furthermore, this class required you to learn on your own. However, for me after the first semester I got the hang of the class. I would definitely recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

The teacher was my favorite part about this class. He made the class enjoyable and he was always there to help if you fall. Even though I dread learning about history and it was hard for me to comprehend, Mr. Goss always made the topic easy to understand. I learned how to overcome a hard class and how to teach myself when needed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is challenging at first but once you get through the first few tests and understand how the class runs, you will do much better. My advice is to not give up and study the book because the tests come from the reading. Keep up with your reading and take notes in order to be successful in the class.
