    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helps to lay down a strong foundation for success in future English classes. AP Language is strongly based on rhetoric and rhetorical analysis, which is of paramount importance in many subjects both English and non.

    Course highlights:

The greatest thing I learned, mainly, was about learning how to take my ideas, make sense of them, and then produce a coherent essay from them in limited amounts of time. A highlight of this course was when I achieved a 4 on the AP test, enabling me to receive college credit from the course. Any students taking this course, if they invest significant energy and time, can find it a worthwhile experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in AP Language, it is necessary to fully understand rhetorical devices and how to accurately analyze them. Being able to develop a strong, defensible thesis statement is also a must, as is being able to organize your myriad of ideas into something that a judge or teacher can make sense of.
