    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Though the year barely started,I can tell you from here its alot of work!Every week theres about 4 assignments you must do which are paragraphs long.Other than the large workload, you learn alot about our country that you may have never known.

    Course highlights:

The highlight from here is the intense learning. We learned so far about the Salem witch trials, Christopher Columbus and his voyage to America, the horrible slave trade, and the Native Americans and their relationship between the colonists.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You NEED to stay on top of the work! Don't just do the work but put real effort into your writing and make sure it makes sense. Read the chapter assigned as there will be weekly tests coming directly from the book.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class, because Mrs. Luna is extremely knowledgeable about the information she teaches. She gives you a lot of homework, but every bit of it is extremely necessary, and helps you really get the material down. I still remember most of the history I learned from her class.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was the end of the year, when we were reviewing for the AP test, and we were actually realizing that we had retained so much of the information from the rest of the year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You absolutely need to stay up to date on your assignments. If you do a left side a day, it's going to be so much easier than saving them all for one really long night.
