Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course because it allows for students to gain knowledge that can contribute to understanding of other courses, such as Calculus, and also allows students to gain an understanding of natural occurrences through physical demonstration in labs and mental demonstration with mathematics.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight of this course was definitely the lab portion. It's much easier to understand with hands-on experience. There has been so much that I've learned, such as a clear definition and method of solving for Derivatives and Integrals, a common and basic part of a Calculus course. I have also learned how to find elasticity within springs and how elasticity can affect an object and apply work and energy to objects, and also the role gravity plays in any forces and types of energy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you really just need to be willing to try and understand and put even the smallest bit of effort into the work you perform. It is best not to be afraid to ask for help, the teacher is more than willing to give extra instruction if need be and knows many in's and out's of most any topic within the course in order to make seemingly difficult topics seem elementary and easy to remember.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While certainly not for everybody, AP Physics C is a rewarding class for for those who have the work ethic and/or love of the subject!

    Course highlights:

During my time taking this class I have learned concepts fundamental to many future STEM careers, that will be used not just in future college class but in future careers. Apart from that chapters like Motion in 2 Dimensions and Newton's Laws offer a unique and intrinsic understanding of why objects act as they do in our physical world.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I can not stress enough the need for a strong grasp on trigonometry in this class. Take time out of the day to simply play with trigonometry and get an intuitive grasp of it. Beyond that take a primer in Calculus and make sure you are ready to work and ask questions, because the minute you fall behind in this class it is very hard to catch up.
