    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives a more insightful perspective on history and prepares you well for Goverment.

    Course highlights:

I gained study skills because of the large reading assignments, but also developed effective analytical skills as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A student taking this course should avoid procrastination, and maintain an effective study schedule.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this to those willing to learn about the small details of American History.

    Course highlights:

You basically learn history of America and the mishaps that happen.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A huge factor of advice for this class is to study the book extensively as the AP exam is very all around history .

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend, not only do you learn more about America's history, like did you know Jefferson was a slave owner? And in the 70s people actually received pet rocks as gifts? Oh and how the stock crash caused the Great Depression, and led up to joining what would be World War 2. There's so many interesting things you'll learn that you'll be so amused! This course is great, plus you can also receive a college credit by taking the AP test! It's not difficult either!

    Course highlights:

Although I may have complained many times about how difficult I thought the class was, in reality it was all opposite. I learned so much about US and how it shaped up into the nation we are now. Fun lesson such as group projects, in where we studied an era and presented to the class for a whole 10 minutes! And Aikins, my teacher, creating fun discussion with students that led into arguments with great talk. Evehrhing leading us into preparation for AP test that I'm sure if you'd take the care you'd pass!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay focused, don't stress out too much. There will be times when you may think it's too much work but it's all for your benefit. Don't procrastinate and leave everything for last minute! You'll regret it so much! Read when the teacher tells you and watch the videos provided for you when you're going to get tested. Everything you do in class you'll appreciate if when you take the AP test in May.
