    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Shorbe is an outstanding teacher who explains each concept of literature so each student understands what is going on. She assigns a lot of writing so if you want to excel in essays on the AP exam, this is the class for you.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class was the personal statement essay that we wrote preparing for college. This specific assignment was a blast to do teaching us how to use MLA format and how to write a multipage essay staying on the topic of our choice.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you don't procrastinate; she gives you a lot of time to do homework so use your time wisely by doing a little bit everyday. Also, going in before or after class if you have any questions is highly recommended; don't be intimidated or embarrassed to get help.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Literature, personally, is not for me. I am a more technical person who need hands on learning and always having one answer for something. English does not catch my attention as much as math or science.

    Course highlights:

In the AP Literature course I have learned how to write an effective persuasive letter and how to use rhetorical devices effectively.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the homework assigned and listen when the teacher goes over gerunds because they are confusing.
